Hope – single glistening objects within the abyss of darkness.
Hope is not visible; it only leaves traces by the road.
The Braille alphabet stands in darkness. By writing the word ‘hope’ in Braille and then photographing it I heighten the feeling of hope.
What is written cannot be written by those who cannot see and cannot be read by those who can see.
This is our Hope - divinely tender and painfully permanent
In my project I use the Braille alphabet as a symbol. It should not be seen as a means of reading.
